Thank you for choosing Stash (“we”, “us”, “our”). Stash is designed with a privacy-first philosophy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the Stash mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Stash does not collect or store any personal information about you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details. All loyalty card data, membership numbers, and barcodes you add to the App are stored locally on your device.

You may voluntarily provide certain information, for example if you contact support. That information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not stored or shared beyond what is necessary to provide support.

We do not collect or store biometric data. Any use of Face ID or Touch ID for App locking is performed by the iOS system on-device and is never transmitted to or processed by us.

2. RevenueCat and In-App Purchases

We use RevenueCat to handle receipt validation for Stash Pro. RevenueCat is a third-party service that processes purchase information on behalf of app developers.

RevenueCat collects purchase history to manage Pro entitlements.
Stash does not send identifiers like email, name, or device IDs to RevenueCat.

3. Automatic Collection of Information

Stash does not automatically collect data such as:

Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or telemetry
Crash logs (unless explicitly shared via Apple’s opt-in system)
Browsing history or personal behavior data

Unless you explicitly choose to provide information (e.g., contacting support), your usage of the App remains entirely local and private.

4. Location Data

Stash uses location data for the "Smart Suggestions" feature to suggest loyalty cards based on your proximity to stores. This location processing happens entirely on your device using Apple’s CoreLocation and geofencing frameworks. Your coordinates never leave your device and are never shared with us or any third parties.

5. Backups and iCloud

Stash allows you to back up your data via iCloud. These backups are stored in your private iCloud container, encrypted by Apple. We cannot access this data. You may also perform local encrypted exports of your data for manual backup.

6. Data Retention

Because Stash itself does not collect personal information, there is no user data stored on our servers. Any purchase data handled by Apple or RevenueCat is retained per their respective privacy practices to manage your lifetime Pro access.

7. Children’s Privacy

Stash is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes in our practices. We will notify you of significant changes, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
